FORD 3w Coupe´ -32

 

 

This is the old combat coupé, a -32 3w that been around for some time... It used to be painted in the Swedish airforce colours.

Göran Wiking bought the body after it was lifted of the old chassie, interior, glass, wiering and even the stereo was still there!!

After starting a new chassie it was time to take care of the body and get it ready for a new paintjob!

 

The body was a fiberglass replica from England of all places... It was terrible!!! After convising Göran that doors don't almost fit and that bodys can't be almost straigt We got to work!!!

After getting the doors to line up with the body and the trunklid to fit in it's hole, We had to start loading on bondo to get the body straigten out and the lines to look like they were supposed to!

 

By the time the bodywork was all done the frame and all the chassieparts were painted, and while Göran built the new chassie, put the new built 350/350 combo in I did the last couple of days work on the body and got the new paint on...

After bringing the rolling chassie to My shop We spent a couple of days putting everything together and one late night the car was started up and Göran was able to drive it home!!

The hood, the sides and the mask is original -32 Ford and was brought here a week later and painted to complete the project!!...

After driving it one summer the coupé got sold to the north of Sweden and Göran started a new -32 project (His 7th or 8th -32) and after knowing Goran for some years now that will probably not be His last -32 Ford!!!

 

 

 

Det här är den gamla combat coupén, Göran Wiking köpte karossen komplett med inredning, elsystem,rutor m.m. t.o.m. stereon satt i, ett nytt chassie plockades ihop med delar från bl.a Erik Hansson och sedan var det bara att lacka alla delar och skruva ihop allting.

Bilen såldes efter en sommar upp till Kiruna och Wiking bygger en ny -32:a (den 7:e eller 8:e i ordningen) som förmodligen kommer att säljas efter sommaren 2002 om Jag känner Honom rätt
